at least for now, i seem to be able to handle issues related to my ulcerative colitis without too much freaking out or anxiety. but i’m coming down with a yucky cold right now and i keep freaking myself out that it’s a sinus infection, or something is wrong with my teeth, and oh my god i need a root canal and how will i ever afford that and AAAAAAAAAAAAAUGH.

Hahaha whenever I had a flare-up, I’d warn everyone in the dorm or house that I’d need the bathroom a lot, curl up on the couch with Gatorade and let it ride out.

But whenever I felt like I had a fever (cause if you get a fever with colitis, you have to go to the ER), I would be crying and freaking out and calling my mom.
